What is a BenBash?

Ben, the patron of the BenBash, will occasionally appoint a day, night or morning to be called a BenBash. Upon the announcement, People far and wide prepare for the slated event. When the time arrives, hordes and throngs assemble in glee for the beginning of a heralded celebration. Living creatures for centuries remember the historic event embedded in their very beings.

And Why should I Bash Him?

Well, technically the "Bash" refers to the party aspect of the event. However, a tradition has arisen in which BenBasher's utilize the declaration disbursement mechanism to Bash Ben until the event occurs. On some rare occasions, Ben is Bashed throughout the episode. Bashing topics often include: Ben's rare taste in music, poor record with relationships that turn into disasters, and his impeccably poor record of keeping the Pad neat.

How did the First BenBash get it's Fated Beginning?

In the Spring of 1996, Eight revelers left the hallowed confines of Capital University in search of fun and pleasure. They found only one. Upon arrival at the destined site, they proceeded to test their skills at various games until one reigned supreme. This required the arrival of the Cosmic Scorekeeper who arrived with only slight delay. At that point, all ate cake.

Upon return to the Academy, it was decided that fun was had by all in quantities enough not to require pleasure. At that point it was declared that a Bash had occured and since it was assembled by Ben and occured in his Parental abode it would forever be BenBash, the First.
